Neff Hall, Room 101

Room 101 is a technology-friendly venue that is a great space for a lecture, film, video gaming event, or panel discussion.

Helmke Library, Room 275

The Balthaser Conference Room is a beautiful space, surrounded on three sides by windows that provide a panoramic view of the Festival Lawn to the east of the library. The room is just right for meetings, large and small.

Note: This space is only open to reservations for Purdue Fort Wayne faculty and staff.

Skybridge

Lined in windows with an expansive view of campus, the Skybridge is a reservable space for departmental, employee, and student events.

The following policies apply for use of Skybridge:

  • Open to all university personnel for general gathering space
  • Reservation is required by university personnel for specific events
  • Available for reservation by internal groups only
  • Can be reserved between 7 a.m.–7 p.m. daily with no charge
  • Can be reserved from 7 p.m.–11 p.m. daily at a charge of $25 per hour
  • In-stock and available tables, chairs, and easels can be provided by Special Events
  • Tables, chairs, and easels will be set up by Special Events
  • Existing furniture and dry erase walls are not to be moved
  • Internal group/person reserving the Skybridge agrees to leave area and furniture in as-found condition
  • If client causes existing furniture and/or dry erase walls to be moved, client shall return Skybridge furnishing to original set up or room restoration charge of $100 will be assessed to client.
  • May not be closed to the public during any scheduled event
  • Client to provide any and all markers/erasers for white boards
  • Catering can be served in this space in compliance with university catering policies

Reservation Form

Departmental, Faculty, Staff, and Definitions

  • Cancellation: canceling anytime up to three business days prior to your event
  • Late cancellation: canceling four hours to three business days before your event
  • No show: canceling with less than four hours to your event or not showing up

Departmental, Faculty, and Staff Cancellation Fee Structure

Cancellation: No charge
Late Cancellation: $50 
No Show: $75

Student Groups Cancellation Fee Structure

  • Cancellation (with more than three days notice): No charge
  • Late Cancellation or No Show:
    • First offense results in a warning letter to your student organization
    • Second offense results in the loss of scheduling privileges for the Fieldhouse, Walb Union and/or Neff Hall, Room 101, for remainder of semester. All remaining events/meetings scheduled for that student group will be cancelled in those venues as appropriate. Registrar will schedule the event/meeting for a general use classroom. New forms in the Student Life office will need to be completed for a general use classroom.
