About the center.
The Steel Dynamics Keith E. Busse Alumni Center, located on the west side of the St. Joseph River, is a lodge-like retreat which includes a large, grand lobby and connecting patio, catering facilities, conference room, meeting space, and the administrative home for the Mastodon Alumni Community.
Grand Lobby
Rental Rates
- Half Day (six hours or less): $250
- Full Day (6–12 hours): $325
Note: Due to the building layout, external clients may only rent the grand lobby in conjunction with the meeting room suite.




Meeting Room Suite
Meeting rooms A and B are large multipurpose spaces for any type of event from a luncheon to a panel discussion. Meeting room suite rental includes the use of the grand lobby.

Cleaning

- Additional Cleaning (exceeds standard cleaning efforts): $50 per hour

Labor
- Alcohol Liaison: $45 per hour (four hour minimum)
- Security: $60 per hour (four hour minimum)*
- Event Coordinator Overtime: $35 per hour (two hour minimum)
- Student Staff Overtime: $20 per hour
- Holiday Surcharge on Labor: Additional 50%
*All non-PFW or company-in-residence events must have a minimum of one security officer for every 500 persons in attendance.
- Catering Kitchen: $75
- Damage Repairs: $50 per hour plus actual cost of materials
- Removal of Equipment/Debris: $50 per hour plus any actual costs
- Holiday Surcharge on Room Rental: Additional 50 percent
