Sponsor the Northeast Indiana Regional Science and Engineering Fair

Purdue University Fort Wayne (Purdue FW) hosts and coordinates the Northeast Indiana Regional Science and Engineering Fair (NEIRSEF). Sponsorships help us recognize student achievements and support the ongoing coordination of the Regional Fair throughout the school year.

We welcome support through General Fair Sponsorships, Special Award Sponsorships, or both. Sponsorships of any amount are appreciated. Donations are made to Purdue FW, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

General Fair Sponsorships

General sponsorships support the ongoing operation of the Regional Fair, including:

• Communications and resources for participating schools
• Student project paperwork review
• Teacher guidance and support
• School visits and outreach
• Representation at state and international science fairs
• Fair materials, student recognition, volunteer hospitality, and support for students advancing to the next level of competition

Sponsorship Levels

Special Award Sponsorships

Special Award Sponsorships allow organizations and individuals to recognize students for achievements based on criteria selected by the sponsor. These awards provide additional opportunities for students to be recognized and connect students with community organizations and professionals in a variety of fields.

Purdue FW works with each sponsor to establish award criteria and ensure the award is administered according to the sponsor's wishes.

Returning or New Sponsors

Please complete the Donor Response Form and Special Awards Sponsor Form online, or through mail, to confirm your support or make changes to your sponsorship.

Please also ask your Special Award judges to register online so we can plan for event needs, including lunch.

Volunteer Requirements

Special Award sponsors and judges who participate in the Regional Fair must complete Purdue FW's volunteer process for individuals working with minors. This includes:

• Background screening against applicable Sex and Violent Offender Registries
• Completion of required youth protection training
• Presentation of a valid photo ID at event check-in
