MEET HaL ODDEN 

Chair of the Department of Anthropology and Sociology and Associate Professor of Anthropology 

Dr. Odden is the Chair of the Department of Anthropology and Sociology and has an interest in adolescent mental and behavioral health and well-being in the context of rapid sociocultural, economic, and political change. He has conducted research in Samoa and research in Croatia on related issues and has conducted research on insomnia in the U.S., and the treatment modalities commonly used to manage sleep problems.
