Michael A. Flory, Ph.D.
Michael Flory is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Teacher Education and Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). Dr. Flory's primary passion is helping people use data and the scientific process to solve problems across a variety of subjects. He teaches physical chemistry and math courses for chemists and biologists, as well as courses in using assessment and research for educators. Dr. Flory also serves as the director for assessment and analytics for the School of Education, where he manages assessment systems for the School, ensuring that data are relevant, timely, and collected systematically. Using these data, he conducts institutional research on high-leverage topics for departments and programs throughout the School.
