Holly Hullinger, Ph.D.

Dr. Holly Hullinger is a clinical associate professor and program coordinator for Elementary Education within the Department of Teacher Education at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Dr. Hullinger's primary interest in teaching undergraduate candidates is through an experiential learning modality, where Dr. Hullinger teaches her preservice candidates onsite in local urban schools. Dr. Hullinger's content focus is literacy educatorion, and she leads the faculty in the newest research regarding the science of reading. Dr. Hullinger also is a champion for our local school district, Fort Wayne Community Schoolss, as well as other local partnering school districts that allow preservice candidates to grow as future teachers through observation, practicum, and student teaching experiences.
