National Exams

What you need to know.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

Purdue Fort Wayne is a national testing site for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). CLEP exams evaluate college-level knowledge gained through independent study, military training, work experience, or other educational experiences. Successfully passing a CLEP exam may allow students to earn college credit for specific courses.

Testing Services offers all CLEP examinations; however, not all exams may be accepted for credit at Purdue Fort Wayne. Students should consult with their academic advisor or home institution to determine whether CLEP credit will be accepted.

How to Schedule a CLEP Exam

Step 1: Register with College Board

Create or log in to your CollegeBoard account and register for your CLEP exam.

You will receive a CLEP Registration Ticket after completing your registration.
