Case Study

Omnibus Speaker Series

Challenge
We wanted to refresh and reinvigorate this longstanding speaker series to bring in more relevant speakers and engage new audiences, while maintaining the original intent and integrity of the series.

Solution
We began booking speakers who are thought leaders and change makers in their respective fields. With a mantra of "inspiring fresh and diverse thoughts," we hosted speakers across a vivid spectrum spanning media, politics, technology, and more. We also developed a robust classroom opportunity for Honors Students to engage more directly with the speakers.

Result
The Omnibus Speaker Series is stronger and more engaging than ever. Speakers as varied as Monica Lewinsky, Karl Rove, Judy Woodruff, and George Takei have graced the Omnibus stage. We continue to build our audience, create dialogue and understanding around current events, and fully exploit social media and earned media opportunities.

Case study

Celebrate PFW

Challenge
Working closely with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, our strategy was to transition from an annual event focused on philanthropy to one that more broadly highlighted the university's impact on the community.

Solution
We continued with the tradition of hosting donors and friends for an elegant reception and dinner on campus. We broadened the program content to highlight not only the university's significant impact on the region and the state, but also to honor members of the community who support and advance the university's mission.

Result
We took an already successful event and significantly amplified it. With a broader, yet more strategic focus, we expanded the university's sphere of influence and helped even more members of our community connect with the university mission and strategic priorities.
