The Mastodon Alumni Community is a premier association of Purdue Fort Wayne, built to connect the university with existing and future alumni. The cornerstone of our association is the community aspect, and we celebrate the connections and traditions of our Mastodons.

Membership Types

A basic membership is free and only requires updated and verified contact information.

Members

  • All persons who have received degrees from the university, which include Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW), and Indiana University Fort Wayne.
  • Current and past students who have earned a minimum of 24 credit hours over any timeframe on our Fort Wayne campus.

Benefits

  • 20% discount on all items in the Mastodon Campus Bookstore (except: textbooks, sale merchandise, computer hardware, and academically discounted software)
  • 20% discount on online purchases of university merchandise
  • 15% discount on registration for Continuing Studies noncredit classes
  • Special alumni rate for the Athletics Center school-year annual fitness membership
  • Special pricing at athletics events
  • Invitations to Career Development Center seminars
  • Access to career-development and preparation services from the Career Development Center
  • Scholarship opportunities for dependents

Members include alumni who graduated in the last ten years (2015–25) who have made a gift of any amount to the university in their first ten years following graduation.

Benefits

  • Special invitations to annual Dons of the Decade alumni events: networking events, social outings to Colts/Komets/Tin Caps games, performing-arts events, virtual programs, and more
  • Accelerated opportunities to join Purdue Fort Wayne's other giving societies, with access to even more exclusive events
  • All basic membership benefits

Community membership is free and only requires updated and verified contact information. Members include staff and faculty who have worked at PFW (IPFW) for five years or more.
