Gigi’s Playhouse celebrates graduation of four students from Gigi’s University
Gigi University’s first class of the new year graduated Thursday afternoon at Gigi’s Playhouse, after 15 weeks of classes.
The program’s goal is to help adults with Down Syndrome learn skills that will help them in the workplace and allow them to achieve their highest potential.
A Purdue Fort Wayne professor of Speech and Language Pathology was also in attendance with two of her students, who helped the graduates with speaking. A moment that program manager Kim Jones says means the world.
