Education Notebook: Purdue Fort Wayne program earns national accreditation

A Purdue University Fort Wayne master’s degree program now has a designation no other northeast Indiana institution has—accreditation from the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

The university’s graduate speech-language pathology program is among seven statewide with this status, which confirms the program meets rigorous academic and clinical standards.

The accreditation follows a five-year candidacy period.
