Meet Suin Roberts

Professor of German of the Department of International Language and Culture Studies (Fall 2026)

Dr. Suin Roberts is professor of German at in the Department of International Language and Culture Studies at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where she has taught since 2006. She holds a Ph.D. in German from the University of California, Berkeley (2005). With over 20 years of experience in higher education, she teaches all levels of German, as well as courses in literature, linguistics, and intercultural communication. 

As a CELT Teaching Development Fellow, she supports international faculty and leads cultural awareness training for students, faculty, and the community. Her research explores Korean diaspora, migrant identity, food and belonging, and International Faculty in Higher Education.
