A Graduate Tuition Benefit for Northeast Indiana Students
Eligible Northeast Indiana residents who begin a qualifying graduate program during the 2026–2027 academic year can receive three (3) tuition-waived credits during their final semester at Purdue University Fort Wayne. The Finish Strong Northeast Indiana (NEI) Program helps students reduce tuition costs and complete their graduate degree with confidence.
Eligibility Requirements
The Finish Strong NEI program is available to students who:
Reside in the following Northeast Indiana counties:
Adams
Allen
DeKalb
Elkhart
Huntington
Kosciusko
LaGrange
Noble
Steuben
Wabash
Wells
Whitley
Begin a qualifying graduate program during the 2026-2027 academic year
Meet all admission requirements for their selected graduate program
Enrollment Requirements
To remain eligible for the discount, students must:
Enroll in a qualifying graduate degree program requiring 30 or more total credits
Maintain continuous enrollment during the fall and spring semesters
Complete all degree requirements within four (4) academic years of beginning the graduate program
The tuition waiver will be applied to three (3) credit hours during the student's final semester of enrollment.

Please Note: You must enroll in the first semester of graduate study. The discount cannot be combined with any other university discount, scholarship, or assistantship. It cannot be used for individuals already enrolled in a recognized 4+1 program. Graduate classes completed elsewhere or completed as an undergraduate student at PFW will affect the amount of discount.
