Course consultation and processing

Course creation starts here.

You can always start with a consultation to help guide you in the course proposal process. Just contact Terri Swim, associate vice chancellor of Academic Programs, at [email protected] or 260-481-6442 to set up a meeting.

All course proposals are entered into the Purdue Curriculog system. Curriculog is an online course and curriculum management system used for submitting, reviewing, and approving course proposals. Curriculog is designed for faculty and administrators who need to add, change, and eliminate courses. After final approval of a course proposal, the registrar will update the catalog and notify the originating department.

Course Types

If you can’t find a matching PWL course or want to change an existing course number in Curriculog you will need to create a new course number.

Contact Celia Price, assistant registrar, at [email protected] or 260-481-6121 to obtain a new course number.

Cross-listing of courses occurs when two or more courses are taught at the same time, same day, and by the same instructor. To request courses to be cross-listed, send an email to: [email protected].

Dual-credit courses are courses created through Collegiate Connection that offer high school students an opportunity to earn college credit. These courses are processed through the Office of the Registrar.
