Student Government Association
Your representatives.
Your executive branch of the Student Government Association consists of the student body president, vice president of legislation, and vice president of finance. The three officers are elected each spring by the student body and serve one-year terms, which begin in May.
President
The student body president serves as the primary representative and advocate for students to the university leadership; represents the Student Government Association at official university events and at board of trustees meetings; holds veto power over legislation passed by the student senate; and presides over all Student Government Association meetings. The president also makes student appointments to university committees, including the Student Travel Committee and the Campus Appeals Board.
Vice President of Legislation
The vice president of legislation serves as the president of the student senate and is responsible for recruiting and training senators; presiding over meetings of the student senate; appointing senate committee chairs; and assisting with the implementation of senate legislation and resolutions. This position also serves as a nonvoting, ex officio member of all senate committees.
Vice President of Finance
The vice president of finance serves as the chief financial officer of the Student Government Association and represents the Student Government Association on matters related to the budget and academic issues. This positions serves as the chair of the Allocations Committee, works closely with the Student Government Association Media Board, and represents student government on the University Budget Committee.
Student Body President
Willow Cribb
Willow Cribb is an Art and Design major with minors in Creative Writing, Women's Studies, and Folklore. Her enthusiastic approach to helping students can be seen all over campus. Willow has made it her goal to leave PFW better than it was when she started here and views this position as her next step towards that goal. With her passion towards improving student experience, Willow aims to be a voice for the needs of the whole student body.

Vice President of Legislation
Maleah Boyd
Michael Boyd is a Commercial Music and Music Industry major with a minor in Business Studies. Throughout his time on campus, he has held several leadership and service roles, including Student Success Coach, Secretary of the Music Industry Association, member of the Pep Band, and Senate Pro Tempore for the Student Government Association (SGA). He now proudly serves as the SGA Vice President of Legislation. In this new role, Michael is committed to increasing awareness of SGA and its role in student life. Driven by a deep passion for the student body, he aims to strengthen the sense of community on campus and ensure student voices are heard. Michael is excited to continue supporting his peers and advocating for their needs.

Vice President of Finance
Amber Smith
Amber Smith is an Anthropology major with a Certificate in Cultural Resource Management. She is a familiar face around campus having worked as an Archaeological Research assistant, an SGA Executive Assistant, a supervisor at the Gates Fitness Center and an Orientation Leader. She had also been immersed in the PFW community through involvement in student organizations serving as the Anthropology Club Secretary and Treasurer as well as the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority President and Vice President of Programming. As Vice President of Finance, she hopes to bring her diverse experiences to her position and is eager for the opportunity to make a positive, lasting impact in starting new traditions, beautifying campus and advocating for all students.
