All About Transcripts
You can receive a copy of your transcript in person or by mail. We do not send transcripts by fax. An official transcript is printed on official university security paper and has the official university seal and Registrar signature. Unofficial transcripts are printed on plain white paper.
You can request your transcript online directly from Indiana University or Purdue University. You can also visit the Kettler Hall Enrollment Services Center in person. Remember to have a valid form of ID.

To secure your student records, we require your signature to release your transcripts. To protect your and others’ records, Purdue Fort Wayne does not accept transcript requests via email and will not fax outgoing transcripts. If you have questions about transcripts, please contact the registrar’s office at 260-481-6815 or email@example.com.
Send Transcript to Employer or School
You can request that your transcript be sent to an employer or another school. The Transcript Request Form provides a space to indicate where to send the transcript.
If you authorize another person to pick up your transcript, you must provide that person with a letter of authorization that includes their name. The letter should also include your name and Social Security number. The person picking up your transcript will need to present their photo ID. Purdue Fort Wayne reserves the right to make a photocopy of the authorized person’s ID to keep in your record. At the point that the transcript is released to the authorized person, responsibility for the transcript transfers to you or the authorized person.
Visiting Student Requests
If you are a visiting student but need to request a transcript of classes that you have taken at Purdue Fort Wayne, you can request that an official transcript be sent to the school that you attend.
If your employer or a third party needs to verify your degree, they can utilize the National Student Clearinghouse verification tools. Degrees are in a public directory and accessible by request, unless you set a restricted release on your public information.
