Purdue Fort Wayne and Congressman Jim Banks Hold News Conference in Conjunction with Annual Job Fair
FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Third District Congressman Jim Banks and Purdue University Fort Wayne Chancellor Ron Elsenbaumer will hold a news conference for members of the media tomorrow, August 8, at noon in the Office of International Education, Walb Union, Room 145.
The news conference coincides with the start of the annual job fair hosted by Congressman Banks, in conjunction with Purdue Fort Wayne and WorkOne Northeast, which runs from noon to 3 p.m. in the Walb Union International Ballroom.
Representatives from 73 employers with nearly 3,500 job openings will be set up to meet with job seekers.
The job fair is free and open to the public.
Parking is available in Parking Garage 2 (P2), located near Walb Union.
