Move-in Day 2025 has some daydreaming of Purdue Fort Wayne’s new digs in 2026
More than 1,550 students – approximately 22% of the student body at Purdue Fort Wayne – moved into housing offered by the university on Friday. Many were joined by family, friends, and members of PFW’s famous Movers and Groovers volunteer corps for this exciting college experience.
Move-in Day at the start of the fall semester is always a positive reminder of why members of PFW’s campus community do what they do, for students and northeast Indiana.
The 2025 edition of this annual ritual was also the unofficial start of a one-year countdown to the opening of the new, 600-bed Trace student housing complex on PFW’s North Campus. A large amount of progress has been made on this project over the last four months. Construction is expected to be completed in June.
