Mastodon Magic! Purdue Fort Wayne upsets Notre Dame, 72–69
Jon Coffman has built a reputation for stunning power conference opponents in his dozen years as Purdue Fort Wayne’s head coach.
On Sunday, Coffman and the Mastodons delivered another upset win with a 72-69 victory at Notre Dame. It marks the program’s first ever victory against the Fighting Irish in men’s basketball.
