Marchesano’s former players embark on coaching careers

Purdue Fort Wayne women’s basketball head coach Maria Marchesano has had former players go into coaching before, but never quite like this.

“This is the first team that I’ve had multiple players throughout their time as a player pull me aside at one point or another and say, ‘I think I want to coach,’” said Marchesano.

Four members of the recent graduating class have decided to pursue coaching right away.
