Mastodon Card and Security Badges

Campus Credentials and Transportation

Got your ID?

Your Mastodon Card is your official identification for campus. It’s available to students, faculty, staff, retirees, fitness center members, and community members who wish to use library services.

Depending on which group you fall into, your Mastodon Card can be used for the following campus services:

  • Building and Room Access
  • Library Services
  • Meals
  • Campus Event Entry
  • Recreational Sports
  • Fitness Center Entry
  • Fort Wayne–Area Discounts

We also offer security badges to students, faculty, and staff. While security badges are not a replacement for your Mastodon Card, they do provide you with a wearable form of ID to easily show authorized access when working off campus or in areas other than your home department.

If you would like to place a request for a security badge, please submit the following form. Each individual must show a government-issued ID card when picking up their security badge from our office.

Electronic door access has been added to over 160 doors across campus, including at least one exterior entrance door on most buildings. These electronic readers can be unlocked with your Mastodon Card, if you have the correct approvals.

Requesting door access for students, faculty, and staff requires a Door Access Form to be filled out by a department staff member. For exterior door access locations, please view the following information.
