Center for Student COunseling
Welcome to the Center for Student Counseling.
Whether you are a student seeking support, a faculty member referring students, or a member of the campus community, the Center for Student Counseling is here to provide you with a safe and nurturing space for your mental well-being.
We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities feel safe, heard, and valued. We understand that college life can be exhilarating, transformative, and, at times, overwhelming. It is our mission to ensure that you have access to the resources and support necessary to navigate these challenges during your academic journey. Whether you’re struggling with stress management, anxiety, depression, relationships, or academic challenges, our goal is to equip you with the tools and strategies to enhance your overall well-being.
We are committed to providing a wide range of services to meet the unique needs of all students. We offer individual counseling, group sessions, couples and family counseling (if one member of the group is a student), and walk-in hours, and we have a relaxation and low-sensory space that can be accessed by the campus community. We actively collaborate with other campus resources and departments in our dedication to fostering a campus culture that prioritizes student mental wellness.
Explore the services we offer, reach out to our team, and engage in the various events we organize throughout the year. Seeking help is a courageous step, and you are not alone on this journey. Together, we can overcome challenges and take steps toward promoting a holistic approach to well-being.
We are here for you, and we look forward to being part of your growth, well-being, and success during your academic journey.
