Planning for our future

In the fall of 2023, a collection of more than 250 Purdue Fort Wayne employees and students came together for the good of the university, to kick-start the conversation about our next strategic plan: Forward Together.

Progress and possibilities.

Our strategic plan is about breaking down silos. All our departments and offices are working to better the university, yes, but our next steps will allow us to work more cohesively. We want to establish a clear, consistent effort throughout Purdue Fort Wayne to improve enrollment; explore opportunities for cross-departmental interdisciplinary studies that would provide a higher quality education for our students; bring DEI efforts forward in faculty recruitment; and provide a safe campus for students, faculty, staff, and our community.
