What we do.
The Faculty Senate exercises the powers and responsibilities delegated to the faculty by the board of trustees. Faculty self-government can take many forms, but the senate is its most important organ. Here, elected senators and committees carry out their policy work and participate at the highest level in the shared governance of the university.
