Purdue Fort Wayne hosts 26th FIRST LEGO League Northern Indiana Semistate Tournament
Purdue University Fort Wayne hosted the 26th FIRST LEGO League Northern Indiana Semistate Tournament on Saturday. 49 teams of students ages 9-14 competed for a chance to advance to the state finals on Jan. 10 in Indianapolis. FIRST LEGO League, which was created through a partnership between FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO Group, includes over 29,000 teams in 80 countries. The program aims to inspire young minds in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, while fostering valuable life and career skills.
