Professors discuss persecution of LGBTQ+ people during the Nazi regime

Moderator Jordan Sanderson listens to professors Ann Livschiz, Steve Carr, Michelle Kelsey, and Lee Roberts present “Branded by the Pink Triangle—An Introduction to the persecution of LGBTQ+ people during the Nazi regime.” The panel discussion was in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which is observed annually on January 27 to commemorate the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1945. The event was sponsored by The Q Center; the departments of History, Communication, and International Language and Culture Studies; the College of Liberal Arts; and the Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
