Allen County officials receive findings, proposed solutions from consolidated Fire/EMS Systems study

A joint meeting between the Allen County Council and the Allen County Board of Commissioners was held on Friday.

During the meeting, the two organizations received findings for the consolidated Fire/EMS Systems study prepared by the Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW) Systems Engineering Center.

The study was commissioned by Allen County in early 2025 to ‘evaluate operational efficiency, staffing, system performance, and cost structure in support of a potential consolidated fire district model.’
