Quaking Aspen
Description
Leaves quake or flutter in the wind due to the flattened stems and broad-leaf surface. The most widely distributed tree in North America. Intolerant of shade, but quick to pioneer disturbed sites, it grows quickly and can sucker vigorously from the roots. Fall color is golden.
