Join us for the 2026 Wellbeing Summit and Thrive Week Events!
Wellbeing Summit is the anchor event of Thrive Week - a campus-wide celebration of health, connection, and community. Join us for a vibrant vendor fair, interactive demonstrations, giveaways, and hands-on experiences designed to support physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. Select offerings including massage tables and facials - require advance registration due to limited availability. Employees can drop off completed Wellbeing Passports to receive a free Thrive Week t-shirt and be entered into TinCaps ticket giveaways. We'll also be serving brunch and inviting everyone to sit down and eat together. Consider branching out, introducing yourself to someone new, and sharing a table - because thriving isn't just about individual wellness, it's about connection. Stop by, stay awhile, and celebrate what it means to thrive at PFW.

What might shift if we better understood life on the other side of the classroom? This facilitated roundtable invites students and faculty into authentic, respectful conversation about their lived experiences - the pressures, assumptions, challenges, and hopes that shape daily campus life. Participants will have the opportunity to share what they wish the other group truly understood, listen with curiosity, and build empathy across roles.
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am
Location: Walb Union, Room 114
Open to all campus students and faculty
Take a hands-on approach to relaxation and focus on this interactive workshop exploring the science behind sensory grounding. Participants will learn how tactile engagement and visual micro-environments can help regulate stress, improve connection, and support nervous system balance. During the session, you will learn the research behind sensory-based calming tools, create your own personalized sand tray, participate in a brief guided grounding activity, and leave with your completed sand tray to use at home or work as a practical tool you can use whenever you need to reset.
Time: 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Location: Walb Student Union, Room G08
Open to all campus employees

What would change if you moved through your day with intention instead of autopilot? This interactive, skills-based session offers a simple, repeatable process to interrupt stress patterns and return to presence in real time. Using a step-by-step framework participants will learn how to reset their nervous system, refocus attention, and act with intention rather than reactivity. Each attendee will leave with a practical plan for the week, including one True Unapologetic Intentional Thing (T.U.I.T) they choose on purpose to move from getting by to thriving.
Time: 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Location: Walb Student Union, Room G21
