Veterans Week

Join the Center for Veteran and Military Student Success as we recognize and celebrate our military-affiliated community during Veterans Week.
Throughout the week, military-affiliated students will have opportunities to connect with fellow students and veterans, enjoy free food and coffee, explore community resources, and take part in activities honoring those who have served.
Events include a Veterans Day flag display, free breakfast and lunch opportunities, coffee and community connections, and a Veteran Community Resource Fair featuring organizations such as the VA, The F.O.B., and other local resources.
Events for the Week
All are are welcome to participate, connect with the community, and take a moment to recognize the service of our past, present, and future veterans.
Need a quick pick-me-up between classes? Stop by the Center for Veteran and Military Student Success (Walb 120) and grab a free breakfast on us! All military-affiliated students are welcome to swing by anytime between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM to pick up a quick breakfast and a small giveaway. No need to stay long—just stop in, grab something to eat, and start your day with us!

Take a break, grab a free coffee from BonBon’s, and connect with fellow veterans and military-affiliated students! Join us in the lounge outside the Center for Veteran and Military Student Success (Walb 120) for an afternoon of good coffee, conversation, and community. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and network with campus veterans and veterans from the local community, share experiences, and hear stories from others with military connections. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, catch up with fellow veterans, or simply enjoy a free cup of coffee, you’re welcome to stop by!

Take a moment. Remember. Honor.
Take a moment to visit the Science Mall as we fill the lawn with American flags in recognition of our past, present, and future veterans this Veterans Day. The flag display is a visual tribute to the service and sacrifice of those who have served—and those who will carry that tradition forward. Whether you’re passing through between classes or stopping by specifically to reflect, we invite the campus community to take a moment to see the display, remember, and honor our veterans.

Need a break and something to eat? Stop by the Center for Veteran and Military Student Success and grab a free lunch on us! All military-affiliated students are welcome to stop by anytime between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to pick up a quick lunch and a small giveaway. Whether you’re heading to your next class, taking a study break, or just passing by, come grab some food, say hello, and connect with your military-affiliated campus community.
