PRESERVING THE PAST: ARCHAEOLOGY AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY FORT WAYNE

In celebration of Indiana Archaeology Month, join archaeologists from Purdue University Fort Wayne and RESCOM Environmental Corp near the Ron Venderly Family Bridge on the PFW campus as they and cultural resource management students demonstrate archaeological methods and techniques. Watch a limited excavation and geophysical survey, learn about technologies, and learn about Indiana cultures and artifacts. Free stickers and Indiana archaeology coloring packets and literature will be available. Artifacts will be on display. The event is free and open to all ages. No RSVP required to attend this open house event.
