Opera Today! Presents a Gian Carlo Menotti Double

Company-in-residence Opera Today! presents a special evening featuring a double feature of short operas by Gian Carlo Menotti. In Amahl and the Night Visitors, the lives of an impoverished young boy and his mother are transformed when a trio of wise kings visits their home. In The Telephone, a young man determined to propose to his girlfriend finds his intentions thwarted in increasingly comedic ways by her preoccupation with the telephone.
