Gene Marcus Piano Competition for Ages 18 and under

Rhinehart Recital Hall

The Gene Marcus Piano Competition invites pianists ages 18 and under living within 100 miles of Fort Wayne to compete for four age division awards. Named after longtime PFW professor Wilda “Gene” Marcus, who taught at what was then known as Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne from 1968-1986, this competition draws some of the finest musicians in the region.
