Bookmaking and Illustration Art Camp for Grades 2–5

Visual Arts Building

Campers spend a week bringing stories to life in this hands-on bookmaking and illustration camp! In the morning, campers learn how to physically construct their own books—assembling pages, designing covers, and building stories from start to finish. After lunch, campers become illustrators, using paint, markers, colored pencils, and collage to create vibrant images that tell a story. By the end of week, students will have a one-of-a-kind, handmade books that showcases both their creativity and imagination—plus a whole lot of fun along the way. Camp is led by Bonnie Bloom, art teacher at Price Elementary, and Grace Webster, art teacher at Ossian Elementary.
