America 250 Time Machine

The US 250th Anniversary Celebration Programming Committee will be hosting “America 250 Time Machine” on April 20th from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. in the Walb Classic Ballroom. 

This event, in collaboration with Historic Fort Wayne, will feature costumed interpretation, historical demonstrations like weaving and 18th century games, historical presentations, a colonial era ‘coffee house’ with moderated debates, the reading of documents like the ‘Declaration of Independence’ and much more. We hope to provide a space to reflect on the 250th anniversary of our nation by ’time traveling’ back to the 1770s to engage in its history, politics, and culture.
