Take the Next Step on Your Fitness Journey

A personal trainer can take you further. Get individualized attention, support, and motivation with supervised exercise instruction tailored to your needs. Whether you struggle with lower-back pain, are looking for weight-management assistance, need stress relief, or are concerned with high blood pressure or cholesterol, we can help.

Get Started

You can sign up for hour-long personal training at the fitness center front desk. Registration is available for individual or buddy sessions. All members and students are eligible to receive one free personal-training consultation.

Your consultation will give you the tools you need for your fitness journey. This consultation includes a fitness assessment, goal setting, facility orientation, and instruction on utilizing training techniques and equipment.

Buddy Sessions

Payment for personal training is not required until your first session.

  • Training sessions are one hour. If sessions are ended early based on the client’s request or if it is deemed appropriate based on client’s fitness level, the session is considered completed and the remaining time will not be made up during a later date.
  • If clients are going to be more than five minutes late, they should call their trainer. Trainers will wait only 15 minutes for late arrivals. Any tardiness of more than 15 minutes will result in the loss of that session.
  • Follow all policies regarding dress when in the fitness center. Proper exercise attire (including clean tennis shoes) is required.
  • If a session needs to be canceled for any reason other than an emergency, clients must give a 24-hour notice. They may contact their trainer directly or call the fitness center front desk at 260-481-6655. Failure to notify the fitness center will result in forfeiture of the session.
