Spring 2023 Lab Hours
Lab Equipment and Titles
The IT Services Esports lab is a space created for competitive gaming on the Purdue Fort Wayne campus. The lab is located in Walb Union, room 221—its high-end gaming hardware is available to students, staff, and faculty as well as esports teams, gaming clubs, and special events.
The lab has 21 gaming-ready workstations to take advantage of. Each station has 20+ modern titles installed to play. Take a look at the full specifications of the computers and find out what games are installed below.

Curious about how capable our gaming workstations are? Take a look at each of our Alienware gaming computers' specifications below:
- Processor: Intel i9-9900
- Graphics Card: Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti
- Storage: 2 TB Solid-state drive
- RAM: 16 GB DDR4
Each station also has Dell G-Sync monitors that can be wirelessly streamed to two 75-inch 4K TVs in the lab, Corsair gaming peripherals, and custom Maxnomic gaming chairs. You can bring and use your own peripherals providing they don't require any software to be installed on the lab computers.

Lab Policies
We require that all lab users respect one another. Inappropriate personal conduct such as bullying, harassment, cheating, stalking, or other forms of intimidation will not be tolerated. Please refer to the Student Handbook Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct for complete information. The lab also has the following rules in place:
- Student accounts are provided 20 hours of play per week
- Food and open drink containers are not permitted
- Mistreatment or abuse of hardware will result in a loss of lab privilege
- User accounts and passwords can't be shared or loaned to others
- Users may bring their own headsets/controllers/mice if they don’t require additional software
Hours
Take a look at when you can hop into the esports lab at Walb Union, room 221. We’re open during the following hours during the academic year:
- Monday–Thursday: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
Summer hours:
- Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Keep in mind that these hours may change—the lab is closed during team events and group reservations.
