On-Campus Employment

Valued Students, Valued Employees

Choosing on-campus employment means knowing your class schedule won’t interfere with your work schedule, enjoying a short commute, and developing professional relationships within the Mastodon community. It also means you’ll be valued, because at Purdue Fort Wayne, we appreciate what our student workers bring to the university. See the opportunities available to you, including options for Federal Work-Study positions, by applying for an on-campus job through Handshake.

Federal Work-Study Positions

To verify that you have been awarded Federal Work-Study (FWS) funds, be sure to check your financial aid award on goPFW—just click on the Billing & Financial Aid tab. Then stop by the Career Development Center in Kettler Hall, Room 109, to show that you have been awarded FWS funds, or send us your name and a screenshot of your verified funds at [email protected]. Once your funds have been verified, we will mark you as eligible in Handshake, allowing you to apply for FWS jobs. You can find these jobs within Handshake by checking the Work-Study box in the jobs filter.

Visit Financial Aid to learn more about FWS.
