Professors and Pathways program teaches high school students academic, financial skills
High school students attend weekly intro-level college courses through the Professors and Pathways program. Led by faculty such as Shannon Bischoff, a professor in the Department of English and Linguistics (above), the multi-year academic program is offered through PFW's University Research and Innovation.
The program supports students’ academic preparation for college/university by cultivating their academic, functional, and digital literacy skills. It also provides education on the financial aspects of higher education—not just about tuition and scholarships, but also the basics of financial management.
