Topping out the Surack-Sweetwater Music Industry Building

The construction of Purdue University Fort Wayne’s new $25 million music facility has reached a milestone.

The university “topped out” the Surack-Sweetwater Music Industry Building Thursday afternoon. This construction tradition involves placing the last and often highest beam, which was adorned with an American flag before being hoisted in place.
