ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
General Admission Requirements:
- Completed application and $30 application fee
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Proof of English proficiency (for students whose native language is not English; see below for proficiency options)
Engineering Additional Requirements (Civil, Mechanical, Computer, and Electrical Engineering):
- One semester of Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, or higher math
One of the following:
- SAT-R Math 570
- ACT Math 24+
- PFW Math Placement 50+
- AP Calculus AB score 4+
- AP Calculus BC score 3+
- Dual Math credit MA 15400 +
- Previous college Math credit MA 15400+
ADVANCED STANDING
If you’ve completed the IB Diploma, Cambridge International AS/A levels, Oxford International AS/A levels, Pearson Edexcel AS/A levels, AQA AS/A levels, OCR AS/A levels, and/or AP courses, you may qualify for university credit at Purdue Fort Wayne. Credits awarded vary based on program, grades, and intended major. Be sure to send your official score reports directly to the Office of International Education.

To help you succeed, Purdue Fort Wayne requires the following regarding English-language proficiency (for students whose native language is not English):

- Students attending US high schools: English-proficiency testing may be waived if the last two years of high school English have been completed with grades of at least C (ESL will not qualify)
- College-level English from an accredited US institution with a grade of C or better
