    HEALTHY BOILER EMPLOYEE WELL-BEING

Healthy Boiler Employee Well-being aims to serve faculty and staff with programs, partnerships, and resources that promote total well-being through our five pillars of wellness: physical health, social and financial wellness, behavioral health, and work/life integration.

Faculty and staff can take advantage of our partnership with One-to-One Health which provides an on-site employee health coach, Lindsay Bloom, to help you meet your personal health and wellness goals through virtual or in-person workshops, health screenings, health coaching and more.

      • HEALTH SCREENINGS

        HEALTH SCREENINGS AND SERVICES

Annual health screenings not only provide information about your general health, but also help in preventive care and early detection of diseases as well. Knowing your numbers, scheduling regular check-ups, participating in various health screenings helps you monitor, maintain, and improve your health. Plus you can earn incentive dollars for some of the screenings which you schedule every year when you participate in the Healthy Boiler Program.

These health screenings and services are available on campus throughout the year to employees:

        • Blood Health Screenings: One free Wellness panel per calendar year for employees/spouses and retirees/spouses. Other fasting and non-fasting tests are available at a low cost.
        • Campus Health Clinic Services: Our health clinic offers various services such as physicals, labs, immunizations, sick care, and more.
        • Francine's Friends Mobile Mammography: The mobile unit provides preventive care mammography screenings.
        • InBody Screenings: Health coach Lindsay Bloom offers body composition analysis with the InBody tool which helps you identity areas to work on to improve your overall health and wellness.
        • Well-being Summit: Numerous screenings are offered at the annual Well-being Summit.
      • HEALTHY BOILER PROGRAM

        HEALTHY BOILER PROGRAM

The Healthy Boiler Wellness Program, managed by One-to-One Health, is a way to encourage benefits-eligible employees and spouses covered under one of the Purdue health plans to engage in healthy lifestyle choices. Once Step One (an annual physical with biometrics screening) of the Healthy Boiler Program is completed, you can choose which other requirements to complete to earn wellness financial incentives which are deposited into your HSA or HRA.

        • Go to the Healthy Boiler Portal to sign in to your account or to register for the Healthy Boiler program.
        • Earn incentives when you sign up for the Healthy Boiler program.

Personalize the Program for Your Well-being Goals

Setting your own personal well-being goals which work with your lifestyle and schedule is easy. One-to-One Health, Payroll, and Healthy Boiler Incentives

If you participate in the Healthy Boiler Program, once you complete Step One and other requirements, you become qualified to earn the financial incentives. One-to-One Health then notifies Payroll in Human Resources that an employee has earned an incentive and Payroll authorizes a deposit to be made to the employee's HSA or HRA account. Payroll or HR does not see your personal health record, test results, or what incentives you completed.

Learn more about One-to-One Health and their privacy policy.

      • HEALTH COACHING

        HEALTH COACHING

We’ve partnered with One-to-One Health to provide free health coaching to benefits-eligible employees covered on a Purdue medical plan.

Health coaching is a confidential and supportive partnership between you and your health coach. It can be an effective way to motivate and encourage behavior change to help you meet your wellness goals.

Health coaching is available for the following:

        • Behavioral modification
        • Healthy eating
        • Individualized workout planning
        • Meal planning and prepping
        • Sleep health
        • Stress management
        • Tobacco cessation
        • Weight loss support

        GROUP HEALTH COACHING

STAY ACCOUNTABLE. RECEIVE SUPPORT. ACHIEVE GOALS.

Group health coaching is a great option for coworkers. With a group of 4 to 12 individuals, you can participate in a three–month health coaching series. Lindsay Bloom, our One-to-One employee health coach, will visit your department (or meet with you virtually) to conduct three group sessions over the span of three months. The first session will help participants develop healthy and realistic goals. In subsequent sessions, Lindsay will check on those goals and create an environment for sharing and support. Your group does not need to pick one goal to work on, meaning you can develop and work toward your own individualized goals.

Coaching is available Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, email Lindsay Bloom, One to One Health Coach.

Prior to your initial health coaching appointment, please complete the New Patient Packet.
