Health Fair

Health and Well-being Fair

Save the Date: Wednesday, March 24, 2021
Parkview Fieldhouse

This annual event is free and open to all campus employees, all currently enrolled students on campus and the public. It is usually held towards the end of  March. The purpose of the fair is to offer health screenings, assessments, educational tools, and activities which promote the total well-being of an individual.

Vendors from the community volunteer to share their knowledge and resources to promote mental/emotional health, social and financial wellness, physical health and more. They also present activities which emphasize ways to de-stress and practice self-care.

Attendees meet with vendors, participate in their health screening, assessment, or activity and learn more about the services their organization offers. They may also register to win free gifts at the fair.

With the exception of the blood health screenings, all of the screenings are free to fair attendees. Various blood health screenings are offered at various costs. The Wellness Panel, a useful tool for determining general health, is free once per calendar year for all campus students, all campus employees and their spouses, retirees and their spouses. The cost for others is $15.00.

The Fair is a great place to go with friends and family to monitor your health, assess your wellness needs, learn about resources in your community and have fun.
