Multilingual Northeast Indiana Gala
Walb Student Union International Ballroom
A grand night for celebrating educators and immigrant and refugee families.
With over 70 languages spoken in the region and a proud history of serving as a resettlement destination for countless families, Northeast Indiana stands as an example of cultural and linguistic diversity within the Midwest. At the heart of this vibrant community are over 7,000 multilingual learners enrolled in area schools, guided by dedicated educators.
To pay tribute to the efforts of these educators and families, you are invited to an evening dedicated to celebrating their invaluable contributions. This special event aims to shine a spotlight on the impact educators make in the lives of their students and in fostering the growth of Northeast Indiana.
All teachers are welcome; ELL students and families; anyone who wants to celebrate the teaching profession regardless of background and job title; local nonprofits who work with multilingual/multicultural populations.
Tickets can be purchased here. Cost: $25–$100/ticket.
This event is presented by the Three Rivers Language Center and the TENL program.
