Professional Background

Luke Rodesiler, Ph.D., a former high school English teacher and coach, is an assistant professor in the School of Education at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Through his research and scholarship, he explores the critical study of sports and society in the English language arts classroom and examines nontraditional forms of teacher professional development. He teaches students enrolled in English methods, content-area reading, and educational technology courses. Dr. Rodesiler is a member of various professional organizations, including the National Council of Teachers of English and the Indiana Council of Teachers of English.
