Doermer Distinguished Scholars Program

The Doermer Distinguished Scholars Program is a scholarship program for business majors.

Richard T. Doermer was an innovator and leader in the banking industry for over 40 years. He was a public servant and philanthropist who was not only interested in banking but participated in many business ventures as an owner or board member. This led to his desire to foster partnerships between local businesses and business schools. Because of Mr. Doermer’s generosity, the Doermer Distinguished Scholars have many networking opportunities allowing them to engage with the local business community, work with mentors, and participate in internships. Doermer Scholars also have the opportunity to participate in an international business experience and are expected to complete a community based business project during their junior and senior years.
