Thank you to all bidders and donors!

Emceed by Chancellor Wartell and Athletic Director, Tommy Bell; and chaired by Jennifer Roherty of Health and Wellness, the 2011 auction was a huge success.  The 189 donated items raised $3,722 for the APSAC Dependent Scholarship and Professional Development Funds.

This was the first year APSAC offered two completely separate auctions, one online and one live.  In past years, bidding on the online items was continued at the live auction.

Participants liked the new format because many people cannot leave the office.  "The split insured that I could have the final bid on the online items," said Marvin Haugk of IT Services, who was able to bid online even though he couldn't make it to the live auction.

"I have never been able to participate in the auction before since you had to go to the live auction," said Deb Barrick of Academic Internships, Cooperative Education and Service Learning.  "Having the two options was great and I got some good stuff."

The Walb Ballroom was decked out in a blue and white basketball theme. Attendees were allowed to take mini basketballs and the basketball-themed centerpieces with them.

Delicious desserts were provided by the 2010-2011 APSAC steering committee.
