Join us on April 24, 2020, for Tapestry at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
Tapestry welcomes women in all stages of life, gathering them for a day of inspiration, renewal, and education.
- Inspiration—Listen to a nationally recognized speaker share wisdom and insight over a delicious catered lunch. Build your motivation with the stories of the Tapestry Scholarship recipients and the Dedication Award honoree. The threads of their lives will undoubtedly connect with yours.
- Renewal—Spend time with friends and colleagues while enjoying a schedule designed for you, the woman. Visit over 170 artist and exhibitor booths to see new products and services. Concentrate on yourself for the day and return to your life with renewed energy and passion.
- Education—Learn something new or explore something fun at the various breakout sessions. Past topics included personal finance, health, decorating, beauty, social media, and more.
Tapestry began in 2002 as a way to enrich the lives of women in northeast Indiana and to raise funds for students studying in the College of Health and Human Services. Parkview Health shared in this vision by joining forces with Purdue University Fort Wayne (then Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne) as the founding sponsor.
Together with the support of additional sponsors and the women of northeast Indiana, Purdue Fort Wayne and Parkview grew the event into a highly anticipated annual gathering.
Over the last 18 years, Tapestry has raised over $1 million in scholarship funds and awarded scholarships to 101 students studying health sciences degrees at Purdue Fort Wayne and IUFW.
