You can develop leadership skills through the many opportunities available on campus. With a focus on development of leadership skills, we offer several leadership programs, retreats, and workshops throughout the year!
Mastodon Mentors
Connecting current students with alumni/friends of the university that share similar career and postgraduate interests to establish a mentoring relationship that will explore professional and personal development for the mentee and mentor.
Freshmen Leadership Retreat
If you are one of the first 50 freshmen that sign up for the Freshman Leadership Retreat, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about yourself and others, connect to your university, experience diversity, and have fun in the process.
Emerging Leaders Retreat
Be one of the first 40 sophomores or juniors that sign up to participate in this full day retreat that will focus on building and recognizing leadership skills and making a bucket list to accomplish at PFW.
Senior Leadership Experience
Prepare for life after college during the Senior Leadership Experience. You’ll provide and receive constructive feedback, learn about group dynamics and peer mediation. You’ll also transition the implementation of leadership skills into community leadership and focus on career leadership strategies, job search, and service on community boards.
