Welcome to the Mastodon Family!

It is an exciting time to be at Purdue Fort Wayne and your choice to be apart of the Mastodon family couldn't be better! We are excited to welcome you to campus and have two-step New Student Orientation process to provide you the foundation you need to connect you with your new academic community, learn how to access important resources, have some fun, and get you on a successful path towards graduation!

We communicate your next steps via email so please be sure to check your email!

Step One: Attend your Advising & Registration Day. This is where you will learn about on-campus services, get to know more about your academic college, meet your advisor, and ultimately- register for the fall semester. You are assigned an Advising & Registration Day based on when you paid your enrollment deposit or when you replied to your offer of admission. Please check your personal email address for your confirmation. If you have questions about your A&R Day or need to reschedule, please call (260) 481-0405.

Step Two: Save the date and attend New Student Orientation. This is a one-day experience where all of our incoming Dons come together and learn how to successfully navigate college and ultimately get to graduation.

New Student Orientation is on Friday, August 17th.

Orientation is mandatory for first-year students (no full-time college enrollment previously) regardless of the amount of credit hours transferring to PFW. As well, as transfer students who are transferring 29 or fewer credit hours to PFW.
