Self-service Scantron Scoring
The self-service scoring machines (several self-service scanning machines are located around the campus) will mark incorrect responses and will also provide the number of correct responses both as a total and/or percentage marked on each individual score sheet. Data analysis is not available with the self-service scantron scoring and there is not a printed report available. The self-service scoring machines are available whenever the buildings are open. A request form is not needed to use the self-service machines.
Self-service Scantron test scoring machines are located in the following buildings on campus:
- Liberal Arts Building Rm 157, near the first floor lounge
- Kettler Hall, second floor, outside 234
- Neff Hall, second floor, near the stairwell and copy machine
- Science Building, in the faculty lounge across from 176

Exam Scoring in the Testing Services Office
Testing Services is able to scan scantron exams and provide test reports, student responses, and other data analysis, Please see our process for utilizing this service:
Please complete the request form [PDF] and submit the request form with all answer sheets and the test key. Only scantron forms F-289 [PDF] or 88483 [PDF] can be used in the Testing Services scanner. The scantron forms must be purchased through Printing Services at [email protected].
Please be sure that all scantron forms, the test key, and the request form are thoroughly completed as incomplete scanning work requests will delay processing.
Please drop off the scantron forms, the test key, and the request form in person to Testing Services, KT 232 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Answer sheets will be processed after in person delivery to the Testing Services office at least 24 hours during normal business office hours.
Scanned answer sheets and test results must be picked up in person at the Testing Services office, KT 232 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. A photo id must be present in order to pick up the materials. If someone else will be picking up the completed scantron forms and results in lieu of the instructor, the instructor must email Testing Services with the individuals' name. That person will need to show a photo id in order to pick up completed scantron forms and materials for the instructor. Completed scantron forms and materials cannot be sent through campus mail.
